| The Wichita Airport Authority (WAA) has officially requested bids for construction of the new terminal building for Wichita's Mid-Continent Airport. This federally assisted project has a mandate for DBE participation. To that end, the WAA has an FAA approved Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program with goals in place. Construction plans and specifications are available for review in the plan room at Breckco Construction Co., 1835 N. Wabash during normal business hours. - Friday, February 17, 2012, 10:00 a.m., construction bid opening.
